The Wandering Years That Brought Us Home

We’ve lived in Wisconsin, Atlanta (twice), Orlando, and Philadelphia. We’ve moved for jobs, school, dreams, and family. And all along the way, we were collecting something that can’t be found on a résumé: perspective.

When we came back to Atlanta, it wasn’t just another move. It was a decision to plant roots, build a future, and raise our family with intention. But when we started looking for a home, we hit a wall. The city didn’t feel quite right. The numbers didn’t make sense. The lifestyle didn’t match our values. So we decided to look beyond the map.

And because MJ had her real estate license, we could explore just about anything. And we did. We saw wild, far-out, overgrown, underdeveloped, and absolutely magical pieces of property. Some made no sense. Some sparked big dreams. That experience opened our eyes.

It trained us to look not just at what is, but at what could be.
